Soeren Domroes 7.1 13 Each year, the [[International Symposium on Graph Drawing and Network Visualization>>url:http://graphdrawing.github.io/gd2025/]] holds a graph drawing context: A creative challenge, which is about visualizing a given dataset to answer a self-formed question (see the winning submissions from GD'24 [[here>>https://drops.dagstuhl.de/storage/00lipics/lipics-vol320-gd2024/LIPIcs.GD.2024.41/LIPIcs.GD.2024.41.pdf]]), and a live challenge, which has a manual and an automatic track and involves creating a layout adhering to specific criteria. For 2025, it will be the first time, the [[live challenge>>https://mozart.diei.unipg.it/gdcontest/2025/live/]] will be about "Minimizing the //k// in //k//-Plane Drawings".
